Welcome back to Muse Monday, where you will find essays, photos, or wise sayings to entice the muse to come by and whisper in your ear!
No ill-fated New Year’s resolutions here. I prefer the word commitment. It makes you more, well, committed to the task ahead. If you want to write a book, it is a long road, and you will need a committed will to cross the finish line. A commitment is more serious than a goal, and far more serious than any resolution you make and may or may not keep. A commitment is something you must keep. It is good to have an accountability partner to keep you on track. Will you be mine?
Here are my 2019 commitments:
- Read at least 25 books
- Rock this blog
- Start my Master’s Degree Thesis, which will focus on Gollum and the pity shown to him
What are your commitments to writing and/or reading?
