  2. Welcome to Top 5 Tuesday! And what a beautiful list! I relate to you ever so much on your shelves quote. My living room is my favourite space in the house because my shelves are there to make me smile!
Thanks for participating – added you to the list!

    • Thanks so much! Grew up with the Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman so was attracted to your name. 🙂

      God bless, Anne Marie 🙂

  3. I came here from Goodreads. In regards to why I love to read, I echo all of your reasons, especially discovery. I am much more of a non-fiction reader than I was as a child or young adult; for the past 10 years or so I have frequently read popular history titles on the topics of turn of the century invention and exploration. I believe I caught the bug from author Erik Larson:-). I’m currently reading “In the Kingdom of Ice: The Grand and Terrible Polar Voyage of the USS Jeannette” by Hampton Sides (another favorite author). The expeditions into the “great unknown” are endlessly fascinating to me. In regards to your other question, I love to return to “The Lord of the Rings” again and again (I believe I first noticed your Goodreads blog via a commentary you wrote about Farmer Maggot). I am also grateful to return to the Gospels of Jesus Christ almost daily.:-)

    • Hi Kyle, sorry for late reply. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! I’ve been reading a lot of non-fic in the healthy eating (Paleo, Keto) realm last year and some this year and motivational books about getting your life and finances in order. And then there’s all the sub-created worlds still to explore, and the Arthurian and ancient and medieval Britain. The book worm/scholarly scribe life for me!

      God bless, Anne Marie 🙂
